Dotan Rudder - by Count Enrico Alfredo Ferrari

Moth Enthusiasts,

I am sending out these photos of my new kickup rudder that is really a fine piece of craftsmanship and design.

Made in Isreal, I found it on the web and corresponded back and forth (20 exchanges) until a product was selected, paid for, and shipped. This design is very slick and I was able to install it for a total near $250 US.

If you need a rudder this was great. Their WebSite is http://www.dotan.com.

With regard to the rudder operation, first of all you have to install rudder on the boat stern. For lifting the blade you need to operate with tiller only: to lift up tiller and instantly to pull down, to return it to the original position.

For lowering the blade you need the same moving: to lift up tiller and instantly to pull down, to return it to the original position. That's all.

No ropes or elastices etc.
