Greg, We almost had one like that in 1991 at Elizabeth City, 1991. The wind was straight across up the river so the weather leg was real short, and the race committee had us reach all the way upriver toward downtown, and then jibe over and reach back toward ERKY's, with another short windward leg to finish. The total reaches were about 4 times as long as the weather work.

Lately, when conditions are like this, they set up a small triangle and have us go once around followed by a windward, leeward, windward. So I guess the "moth drag" will have to be a special event. Think we can get a "christmas tree" and burn out area, with Don Garlits as judge? Maybe we could allow the big rigs to be used for this instead of having them rot.
