Post Card Collection

Yesterday (1/9/99) I visited my folks in Taccoa Georga. We were pouring through the old picture ablums and a post card from the Gulfport Yacht Club in Florida suddenly appeared. Then this morning I did a search on the net and came up two post cards from Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Hence we have the beginings of a "Post Card Collection.

The post mark on the back of the card was dated September 7, 1939 so the picture had to be taken, and card printed sometime before that date.

My Dad - Jimmy Allen, and two Great Uncles Herold and Harvey Parke, were in the sloop (Sea Suds) in the forground to the left. My Aunt - Rita Ellis and Uncle - Dave Allen were in the moth directly behind the sloop.
