Rules
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.

Eligibility and Entry
The regatta is open to the following Moth Boat Divisions:

IMCA Moths
CMBA Classic Moth Boats, Generation 1 and 2 CMBA Vintage Moth Boats

Fees
An entry fee of $25.00 per boat will be charged. The fee includes lunch.

Schedule

Registration: 8 am to 9:30 am.

Skipper’s Meeting: 10 am.

First warning: 10:30 am, wind permitting.

IMCA Moths will start separately. Gen 1 & 2 Classic and Vintage Moths will be started together but scored separately.

Depending on conditions, 5 races will be sailed. No starts will take place after 3 pm.

Awards will be presented shortly after the conclusion of racing.

Sailing Instructions and Courses

Specific sailing instructions and description of courses and penalty system will be discussed at the Skipper’s Meeting.

Scoring

If fewer than 5 races are completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores. If all 5 races are completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score that is not a DSQ.

Prizes

IMCA Moths: 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Gen 2 Classic Moths: South Jersey Champion, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Gen 1 Classic Moths: South Jersey Champion, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Vintage Moths: Fox’s Cup, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
